Message from the Head

My name is Scott McGregor and I am the very proud Headteacher of West Park School.

Prior to joining the school in September 2018, it was clear to see that West Park was a very unique place, a thriving hub of energy and industry with every member of the West Park family striving to be the best that they can be. I work alongside a fantastic group of staff who are fully committed to the school and make up a very stable and talented team.

We are fully staffed in all subject areas and we are very lucky to have some of the best teachers that I have ever seen. We also have an accomplished team of associate staff who play a huge part in establishing our remarkable environment.

From September 2018 it has been a very interesting journey as we have looked to add to the exceptional foundations that were already in place at our school. March 2020 will also stick in the memory as it is when Covid first brought disruption to our Country and to our school. However, at West Park we always focus on the positive and we have supported both our pupils and their families during this challenging time using creative ways to teach, engage, inspire and motivate. Indeed, West Park is a big family, a community of people supporting each other to overcome any obstacle and to maximise our most important asset, our incredible children.
